Economist Claims Sex Robots Will Improve Marriage

A female economist has published a surprisingly positive, if offbeat prediction concerning the effects of sex robots on society, and in particular marriage. MGTOWs (Men Go Their Own Way) hail the advent of sex robots as freeing men from the need to marry to have regular sex. Feminists seem to fear sexbots for that very… Read More »

Gatebox Holographic Assistant Azuma Hikari Update & YouTube Review

You may remember that last year a Japanese company – Gatebox – revealed their answer to Siri and the Amazon Echo, and it was typically…Japanese. Azuma Hikari is a beautiful 3D holographic anime girl that can not only be a virtual assistant, but also the dream companion for lonely single Japanese men (who make up… Read More »

Hyper-real Sex Experiences to Become the Norm?

According to Lisa Peyton, a technology journalist for VentureBeat, ‘hyper-real’ intimiate experiences are one of ‘ten ambitious predictions for how AR and VR will shape our world‘. She quotes a sex therapist – Dr Holly Richmond – who is also a writer hoping to ‘normalize sex tech’, who believes that eventually most first dates and… Read More »

Genetically Modified Faces Coming Soon

Most future sex tech forecasters, along with the media in general, focus on the coming of the sex robots and ever increasing sophistication of virtual and augmented reality porn. This has already led to the young adult generation of today being termed ‘digisexuals’ by some of these pundits. The future of sex and dating is… Read More »

New Discovery Could Lead to Female Viagra

Scientists have made a breakthrough in understanding how the brain controls sexual desire. Using female mice as a model, the researchers found that a hormone in the brain, (appropriately) called kisspeptin, drives both attraction to the opposite sex and sexual behavior. They discovered that pheromones secreted by the male mouse activate these neurons which, in… Read More »

MGTOW (‘Men Going There Own Way’) is a controversial and growing men’s movement whose central philosophy is that, in today’s world at least, men will be happier if they forego the pursuit of women and live their lives without the need for the opposite sex. The exact definition of and criteria for living an authentic… Read More »

Virtual Girlfriends – MGTOW (Sandman)

Another interesting video from the top MGTOW (men go their own way) on YouTube – Sandman. In this video, he talks about virtual girlfriends, again referring to an idea I’ve made here, that the most popular form of sex dolls/sex robots will soon be ‘AR sex dolls’. These will be rather generic sex dolls (or… Read More »

Virtual Girlfriend ‘Vivi’ to Boost Chinese VR Headset Sales

A Chinese VR headset company is hoping to sell its product in greater numbers by marketing the benefits of a virtual girlfriend (called ‘Vivi’) to single men. Vivi is apparently a saucy evolution of the company’s previous female virtual assistant who was as prim as a librarian. Introducing an interactive virtual girlfriend may be the… Read More »

‘The Sex Robots Are Coming’ Review

‘The Sex Robots Are Coming’ screened last night on UK terrestrial ‘channel 4’ and I have to say, it was on the whole rather good. Most of it was balanced and the entire documentary focused mainly on a sympathetic profile of a somewhat elderly doll lover called James, interspersed with illuminating ‘behind the scenes’ insights… Read More »

British TV Trailer for ‘The Sex Robots Are Coming’

A documentary entitled ‘The Sex Robots Are Coming’ is to be aired on the British Channel 4 on Thursday November 30th. Judging from the trailer, it does give prominence to anti-sexbot campaigner Kathleen Richardson who is on a virtual one woman mission to save humanity, or at least women, from the coming of the sexbots.
