UK Parliament to Hold “Summer of Sex”

uk parliament summer of sex

Fresh from attempting to turn every porn surfing British male into a sex offender through making it illegal to view “stepfamily” or “barely legal” porn, the UK’s Houses of Parliament is now eager to demonstrate that it is not dragging the country back into the Victorian period after all. Well, at least not for women. A female MP of the governing Labour party has made headlines by announcing that she intends to hold a “summer of sex” at the ancient parliament, including showing off her collection of vibrators and dildos. It is not known if male sex toy favorite’s such as Brian Sloan’s Autoblow or The Handy will be similarly welcome, but I’m guessing that the answer is no.

The 47 year old MP – Samantha Niblett – spoke to the Sun newspaper about her reasoning for the “Summer of Sex”.

The 47-year-old politician has teamed up with tech entrepreneur Cindy Gallop, who created an alternative adult content website called MakeLoveNotPorn.

The pair’s “summer of sex” campaign calls for more education around understanding consent, respect and healthy relationships.

It also wants to raise awareness around childbirth, the menopause, stress and erectile dysfunction, as well as how health conditions
and disabilities can impact satisfaction.

As part of the campaign, Ms Niblett intends to bring sex toys into parliament – pending security approval.

She told the website PoliticsHome that using devices for self-pleasure is “good for your health”.

She slammed school sex-ed for being “pretty medical” – rather than focusing on feeling good.

MakeLoveNotPorn.tv is a radical (or what would have once been considered radical) feminist “female erotica” site that campaigns to make the porn industry completely vanilla and catering solely for what are perceived as female sexual interests rather than men’s. Of course, the chances of that happening on their own are non-existant, given that the porn market consists overwhemingly of males and the porn industry wants to make money, and so therefore more forceful intervention is needed – such as the current legislation against fakecest porn. However, in an unsurprising but delicious twist, it has been pointed out that MakeLoveNotPorn is not compliant with the UK’s age verification guidelines. The British based site includes free 12 second hardcore porn clips without any gated age verification to stop minors viewing them. But just like the Autoblow appearing in the Houses of Parliament, the chances of Ofcom actually investigating or penalizing MakeLoveNotPorn are probably zero.
