aiAllure positions itself as a platform built around live video interaction rather than text exchange. Most AI companion services start with a chat window and bolt on media as an afterthought. aiAllure has taken the opposite approach, placing real-time animated video, voice response, and — most ambitiously — webcam-based gesture and expression recognition at the core of its identity. The question is whether the technology behind that vision has caught up with the ambition. After hands-on testing, the picture is mixed but genuinely interesting.
Companion Creation
The first interaction with the platform is building your companion, and this is where aiAllure makes the strongest impression. Three creation routes are available: a quick AI generation that produces a complete character in seconds, a full custom build, and an option to upload up to six reference images to guide the AI toward a specific look. This latter option, named “Identity Forge”, appears to be restricted to certain geographic regions, as it wasn’t available when I set my VPN to certain countries.
I found the custom route to be the most rewarding and one of the best I’ve experienced in testing an AI girlfriend simulator. It offers 16 separate physical variables, covering not just broad attributes like body type and hair color but finer details such as the fullness of the lips and the intensity of makeup. After locking in the physical design, you move on to personality: a bio and backstory can be written from scratch in your own words, and pre-set options are available for companion type, relationship status, and personality archetype. The process is extensive but remains accessible, with a clear layout that does not require much navigation between screens. Generating the companion’s Live Room animation takes a considerable amount of time on first setup, though this is described as a one-time process.
Memory
Conversational memory is one of the features that separates a genuinely engaging AI companion from a sophisticated chatbot, and it is also one of the hardest to implement well. On the basis of my testing, aiAllure’s memory system is still a work in progress. During one session with my companion, I told her that my birthday was approaching the following week. When prompted later in the next chat session – framed as a question about whether she remembered an upcoming anniversary – there was no recognition of the earlier detail. The companion responded without any connection to what had been shared.
Having said this, there is a practical workaround in the form of a user notes field, which allows you to pre-load personal information for the companion to draw on. It is useful, but it functions more like a profile summary than genuine conversational recall. The difference matters if what you are looking for is a companion who feels like she is paying attention over time.
Image and Video Generation
Companions on aiAllure can generate images on request during conversation by selecting the “visualize” option inside the Live Room, which prompts a selfie. In general, I found that the consistency was impressive, although sometimes it did make quite glaring mistakes, such as having the wrong color hair.
Video generation is available on paid plans and works well, with the action mostly faithfully reproducing the specifics of the prompt. It has to be said, though, that it does run a little on the slow side. The feature is clearly intended as a supplement to Live Room interaction rather than a standalone offering, and it works best understood in that context.
Live Rooms
Live Rooms are the centrepiece of the aiAllure proposition. Within a Live Room, your companion is presented as a real-time animated figure who speaks, reacts, and can be interacted with through on-screen touch controls. The interface includes options for selecting reply type and adjusting text length during conversation.
The experience in practice has genuine moments of promise and clear areas that need work. The companions’ voices (or rather voice, as there does not appear to be any differences), are convincingly natural and unashamedly sexy. However, the lack of variety in their tone and expression does become obvious over time. Microphone input was unreliable in my case, but this might have been a problem at my end. There is also a delay between the companion’s text appearing on screen and her speaking the words, which means those looking for the kind of real-time conversation offered by Sesame, Zena, or the former AI companions of Grok, will be disappointed.
Touch-gesture interactions within the Live Room are currently limited and basic. Tapping a companion’s mouth, for example, triggers a kiss animation, but the animation quality is rough and facial geometry visibly distorts during the motion. The figure otherwise loops through a narrow range of idle movements rather than responding dynamically to what is being said. A recurring frustration during testing was that NSFW mode periodically reset itself mid-conversation, requiring a return to the settings panel to restore it.
The most forward-looking element of the Live Room feature set is the gesture recognition technology now being introduced to the platform, which enables the AI companion to respond to the user’s real facial expressions and movements through a webcam feed. This represents the clearest indication of where aiAllure is heading and was covered in some detail in an article earlier this year.
Moments
Moments is one of the more original features on the platform, and the one that most directly addresses the passivity that companion services often fall into. Rather than requiring you to initiate every interaction, Moments allows your companion to reach out to you independently with messages, private media, or Live Room calls delivered while you are away from the platform.
Setup is handled through a dedicated settings panel where you select how often contact arrives (a few times a week or daily, with daily delivery requiring a paid plan), what types of content your companion can send, and the preferred delivery window — morning, evening, or randomised. Free accounts can configure Moments for text messages. Private photos, short videos, voice messages, and Live Room calls all require a membership upgrade. The feature adds a dimension of spontaneity that most platforms in this category simply do not offer.

Pricing is competitive for the category. The free tier provides enough access to evaluate the platform properly before committing, which is more than many comparable services offer. Paid membership at around $29 per month is roughly mid-market and unlocks the features – NSFW content, video generation, and the full Moments suite – that give the platform its character.
Verdict
aiAllure is a platform with a clear and ambitious direction, and some of what it is building – gesture-recognition live video, Moments-based proactive contact, and a companion creation system with genuine depth – puts it ahead of the field conceptually. The current Live Room experience, from animation quality to voice recognition reliability to image consistency, needs further development to match the vision. But the foundation is interesting enough that aiAllure is worth a membership in order to an early adopter of this exciting technology.
