The AI revolution happened so fast that the leading players in the adult industry were taken rather by surprise, and could only watch as independent developers and their teams, often with zero prior experience of working in anything porn related, quickly established first movers’ advantage in both NSFW AI companions AND in AI porn generators. There have been several exceptions. For example, Steve Lightspeed, the man behind popular 2000’s studio Lightspeed Media, was one of the first ‘industry veterans’ to try to get into AI porn from the start, running the successful Porn.ai website. Adult Time was one of the first of today’s big players to launch an AI sex chat service (ATRoleplay), but to my knowledge it hasn’t been particularly successful, failing to dislodge the already crowded and established AI girlfriend market.
This month, the company behind one of the biggest live cam sex sites – LiveJasmin – has launched its own AI girlfriend service called CutiesAI. Perhaps they realize that the days of millions of simps paying bored Russian webcam models for a titty flash are coming to the end in the age of hyperrealistic AI video that has just been ushered in with Sora 2 and Veo 3. I was sent an email from LiveJasmin in which the site was announced together with some information on it. Here is what they told me about CutiesAI:

Similar to how typical AI image generators work, users can choose various styles for their girlfriends, favoring realism, semi-realism, cartoon, or some very hot options. In fact, girls constitute just half of the generative potential, as there are trans characters too. Besides niche kinks, users can choose whether to generate a full-scale video or opt for a few pictures.
Exploring the CutiesAI site a little, there doesn’t seem to be anything particularly novel about it, except that the pre-existing gallery of AI girlfriends are very photorealistic and demonstrate smooth and fluid movements in the brief videos showcasing them. One other notable thing is that it consists entirely of AI girlfriends (and ‘trans’ characters). When I’ve had more time to test it out properly, I’ll update this article or perhaps publish a full review.
Pornhub Adds ‘AI Training’ Clause to T&C
An even bigger adult company than LiveJasmin may be moving into the NSFW AI market. Fleshbot reports that “Pornhub has quietly updated its Terms of Service to include a clause granting the company the right to use uploaded videos for “training purposes,” a change that effectively allows the platform to incorporate user content into artificial intelligence (AI) training datasets”.
It’s a somewhat risky move by Pornhub, a site which is now effectively the face of the adult industry, and is watched like a hawk by anti-porn activists and law makers. If just one of their creators whose content was used in their training program turned out to be underage or ‘trafficked”, then it could leave them open to lawsuits or force them to start their AI training all over again from scratch.
Pornhub has been rather slow to embrace AI since the breakthroughs of 2022 – despite a year before already using AI to restore vintage erotic films to HD color. In 2023 Pornhub was bought by an ‘ethical’ investment company which led to speculation it might have been with the intention to turn it into an AI-generated porn site.
