Top VR Cam studio – DreamCam – has announced that it is introducing realtime AI voice translation for live VR cam performers streaming on the WebXR platform. As anybody who has tried VR cams (or for that matter, 2D cams) will know, the majority of the cam models are Eastern European with very little English, with often the most sophisticated dialogue being “Oh, thank you so much” said in a thick accent, every time she receives a tip. However, that might change when DreamCam introduces its live translation feature. As well as hosting its own live VR cam website at DreamCam.com, the company also shares their live VR cams with other VR porn sites.

However, it does appear from their press release that the translation is limited to text appearing on the viewer’s VR headset screen – in other words, subtitles. That is certainly what is shown on the illustration graphic that DreamCam provided with their press release, which shows an attractive young woman saying “Hola!” and it being translated to “Hello!” in a rectangular screen that the viewer sees.
“As immersive tech reshapes the adult industry, language remains a key barrier between performers and global audiences,” a Dreamcam spokesperson said.
“While AI translation itself is not new, its use in real-time, interactive VR environments is a fresh approach,” the spokesperson added. Dreamcam integrates this technology directly into live streams, allowing performers and viewers to communicate more naturally, without language limitations.
Voice Translator Al delivers real-time, Al-powered spoken language translation with visual on-screen subtitles. Using contextual processing to improve accuracy, the system captures speech, interprets meaning and delivers natural translations directly inside the live VR or 2D stream.
“By breaking down language barriers, content providers are able to engage with a broader international audience, increasing their potential user base significantly,” the spokesperson said. “By adapting translation technology for live VR use, Dreamcam is helping shift the industry toward more global, accessible and engaging experiences.”
