Gay Porn Network ASGmax Release First VR Movie

ASGmax first gay VR porn movie

Gay VR porn fans have been badly served over the years, and it’s always been a mystery to me as to why. For years they had to content themselves for the most part with VirtualRealGay, which launched not long after VirtualRealPorn (the very first VR porn site). In those early years of adult VR, two other gay sites launched. StudsVR.com looked promising and it’s initial offering of five or six videos featured some big names, but it never released any more content, despite still being online a decade later. VRBGay (from the VRBangers studio) lasted a bit longer, but they too stopped updating. More recently though, several small gay VR studios have been releasing content on aggregator sites SexLikeReal and VRPorn.com. And today, one of the largest gay porn networks – ASGMax – have released the first of hopefully many VR gay movies.

Their first movie stars Jayden Marcos and Roman Todd, and features a college setting. Trevor Harris, Derek Kage, Oliver Marks, Eddie Patrick and other models will star in future ASGmax VR scenes. According to a press release published at AVN:

“Some students will do anything to stay in school—and Jayden Marcos has always been one of them,” a scene description reads. “Jayden’s academic record reads less like a transcript and more like an incident report—fighting, insubordination and smoking in the gym—but he’s always managed to stay enrolled thanks to a private arrangement with his teacher, Miss Grey. When he walks in to find a stranger behind her desk, Mr. Todd makes it clear that the school is done looking the other way. Backed into a corner and facing the loss of his diploma, Jayden makes the only offer he knows how to make: since he and Miss Grey had an arrangement, maybe he and Mr. Todd can have one too. Mr. Todd, it turns out, is open to negotiation—and what unfolds between them is intense, charged, and captured in immersive 180-degree VR that puts the viewer right in the room for every breathless moment of it.”

“We’re really excited to be adding virtual reality content to our ASGmax network,” said ASGmax chief creative officer Jeremy Babcock. “This is a whole new way of seeing some of our most popular models, and we’re really excited to see how everyone responds to the new content.”

It’s always exciting when a big studio gets into VR, as it’s a positive signal for the industry. As mentioned above, I’ve always wondered why there were so few gay VR porn sites. The gay community are known for being early adopters of tech, and that has always applied to sex tech and porn too. One of the most innovative of the 3D stereo adult sites back in the day was DominicFord3D.com. Gay porn studios were very early to the switch to 4K filming as well. Why they have held off from VR until now is strange, as I’m sure there is a viable market for more than one big gay VR porn site. The dearth of gay VR sites stands out in contrast to the number of trans VR sites. And whilst VRBGay stopped updating years ago, VRBTrans continued until late last year (perhaps only pausing). This is all the more mysterious given that it is widely believed in the adult industry that much of the market for trans videos is gay men (although perhaps it is different for VR).
