Whilst groups claiming to be able to ‘cure’ gay men of their homosexuality are rightly condemned, it seems it’s still legit to treat digisexuality as some kind of disease that can be cured with the right loving touch. That’s if ‘the world’s largest brothel’ is to be believed, apparently claiming that their service is so good that men ‘addicted to sex robots’ will be cured and will only want real women in future…or at least blowjobs from a whore.
The fact that sex robots aren’t really even a thing yet might render this claim dubious or irrelevant. But it’s certainly true that the booming sales of realistic sex dolls is a very real phenomenon, and one which has made sex workers and brother owners insecure in the past, and now more so with, seemingly, an invasion of the sexbots on the horizon.
Sex robots have risen in popularity since the first cyborg was unveiled back in 2017.
Since then, we’ve witnessed a number of sex robot brothels opening around the world and even the first kinky cyborg to join Tinder.
Now in response to the increasing demand, a sex worker has opened up about her therapy sessions which could cure the addiction.
Revealing exclusively to Daily Star Online, Roxanne Price, a sex worker from Sheri’s Ranch, believes the increasing curiosity surrounding sex robots, virtual reality sex and other sex tech is causing an inordinate number of people to identify as digisexuals.
The 25-year-old said: “I’m extending my services to include digisexual therapy because I believe that it’s easy for people to become confused in today’s sex and dating landscape.
“I think that many people are using various types of easily-accessible technology for sexual stimulation more often than they’re seeking actual sex with another human being, and this is causing some people to prematurely identify as digisexuals.
“I don’t want to place judgment on people that identify as digisexuals, but I do want to offer them a nonjudgmental environment where they can truly explore their sexuality with another human being.
“There are people in the world that are authentically digisexuals, but I believe that these people are rare and that I can help cure sex robot addiction in most people.
“Before we turn to technology as our main sexual outlet — and certainly before we do something drastic like marry a sex robot — I think we owe it to ourselves to make sure we’re not into humans.”
