Sex Robots Are Not The Problem?

john the other on sex robots

YouTuber ‘johntheother’ uploaded an interesting, if controversial take on the sex robot debate the other day. I do certainly agree with him in one aspect – when society is considering banning some product or service, at least first try to consider why there is a demand for thing alleged to be harmful. Because mitigating the demand might be a better solution all round.

At around the 2:20 mark, he mentions the hysterical claim by some ‘experts’ that sex robots could potentially be hacked in order to assault or even murder their human lovers. I agree that is absurd (although noneother than David Levy added fuel to that fire recently), but somewhat ironically, Abyss Creations, the RealDoll company creating the famous Harmony sex robot, had their Instagram account hacked and wiped today.
