A number of us have stumbled into what OP is talking about, and let me tell you it is a game changer. Myself and others have been begging for more “AR Friendly” scenes, but nobody seems to bother…All I know is that the first studio to implement this will be getting a subscription from me.

I have been however trying it a lot and it actually works perfectly when the background is black, which is very very rare in VR videos. (Handful) have dark backgrounds.
It also works perfectly with stripzvr videos where the background isn’t changing/not too bright.

Seriously it is a revelation seeing your surrounding (dick and all) while having some straight up triple A quality pornstar in your bedroom.Currently I use ValveIndex for my passthrough and it is awesome..minus the wire and the low on black background VR content …it is just perfect. Set the passthrough to translucent passthrough and you are good to go.

Remember to set the brightness of video to low like 25% and make sure that your room is well lit. Go for edging videos or JOI and line up your real cock to have the best sense of realism.
One video mentioned that apparently works great in passthru is the VR Bangers video ‘Fire and Ice’. The videos of DarkRoomVR could obviously lend themselves to this as well.
