SexLikeReal are going all in on the ‘passthrough AR porn’ hack for the Meta Quest 2. The VR porn site has just filmed their first video shot with a green screen, specifically for viewing in passthrough mode on the Quest 2. It features the lovely actress Xxlayna Marie, and as you can see from her Twitter here, she is rather excited about being able to please you in your own home in augmented reality. Enjoying passthrough AR porn on the Quest 2 should be a bit easier now too, as the VR video display app DeoVR has now included a passthrough feature.
Passthrough porn has already gained a sort of cult following among hardcore VR porn fans, despite there being practically zero content produced specifically for it (aside from a couple of cgi porn games), and the low-resolution B&W passthrough of the Quest 2. With the advent of VR headsets with more advanced passthrough, such as the Pico 4, and of course true mixed reality on the Meta Quest Pro, then we will really get to see the evolution of it into genuine AR porn.
