I came across a recent YouTube video the other day – a ten point guide for those thinking of purchasing a sex robot or an expensive sex doll. Some of the advice is pretty good, which of course, is why I’m posting it (scroll down to the bottom of the page). For example, the uploader advises against buying an expensive silicone sex doll, mainly because of the weight of the things. I can vouch for that from personal experience. Early last year, I paid out around $3,000 for one of the latest Chinese sex dolls. Careful to avoid any problems with customs and ‘child sized dolls’, I was very certain to purchase the biggest model I could find (and afford), as well as with the most massive tits (even though I’m not really a big boobs man).
Expensive Sex Dolls Are Heavy, Lifeless, And Require A Lot Of Care
Unfortunately, as I found out with my $3,000 big boobed luxury sex doll, unless you buy a ‘mini doll’, they are very heavy to move about, as well a position once you have them on the bed or wherever. Often, the effort of having to carry it out of the cupboard (in which it barely fits) and on to the bed (and back again) wasn’t preferable to having a quick wank with the hand. The limbs are difficult to move and it’s a real pain to move it about while you’re ‘having sex’ with it. And although the new generation of luxury sex dolls are undoubtedly often very pretty and remarkably human like (although mine wasn’t as pretty in the silicone flesh as it looked on the website), it’s hard for me to believe that many men would actually want to fuck the doll in itself. By that I mean, you’re not getting excited at fucking the doll, it’s just that the physical dimensions and feel of the doll allow you to imagine you’re fucking an ex, or an unrequited love, or the actress in the porn scene you’re watching. In other words, it’s still masturbation, and the doll is a masturbation aid.
Both silicone and TPE sex dolls require a lot of care. Silly me didn’t take this aspect of owning a sex doll seriously enough, and within weeks the skin of the doll was breaking apart at the joints and revealing the metal skeleton underneath (to avoid this, you need to regularly use restoration powder on the whole doll).
Alternatives To A Highly Expensive Silicone Sex Doll
The YouTuber suggests that instead of buying a $3,000 sex doll, you’d be better off buying a cheap blow-up doll and filling it with feathers. Another option (although more expensive than a blow-up doll) is to purchase a plush sex doll, which are much cheaper and lighter than silicone, but still firm enough and realistically dimensioned (although seemingly hard to find online at the moment, perhaps due to covid).
A further alternative to buying a luxury sex doll, is to buy a realistic torso. Just close your eyes (or perhaps put on your VR headset) and put your hands around its waist or realistic breasts, and it’s the same as a sex doll underneath you. Just don’t reach an arm or leg that’s not there. I would certainly recommend that you buy one of these cheaper options before you splash out on an expensive (and heavy) sex doll. As for sex robots, as I’ve opined many times in the past, they are not really here yet (and obviously will weigh even more than sex dolls, so will need to have some ability to move themselves).
